"Deja Vu"

The guy who got fired is supposter look like Joe Siegler of 3D Realms. (I messed up the first picture of Joe, darnit! Oh well.) The other two "VR Domains" workers whose faces are partially obscured could be Matt Wood (of 3D Realms) and John Carmack (one of Commander Keen's co-inventors).

So - we know now that the story is set in The Future (after the year 2018), when we have cool little VR gadgets with slot-in game modules. I'm quite pleased with the look of those slot-ins, with their "headphone jack"-type pins that just plug into your VR spex. I shouldn't be surprised if that's what the distant future really holds for us. Stay tuned to find out who was the naughty little menace who spitefully destroyed The Boss's house!
